The Dream Painter

 ### **The Dream Painter** .

In a little town where the rooftops kissed the sky, there lived a boy named Nilo who loved to dream. Every night, he had the most wonderful dreams—of floating islands, glowing waterfalls, and cities made of stardust. But what made Nilo special was that he could paint his dreams. With a single brushstroke, he could bring to life the golden rivers he saw in his sleep, the enchanted forests, and the castles that hovered above the clouds. His little attic room was filled with paintings that shimmered like magic. One night, as Nilo drifted into sleep, a soft voice called to him. **“Come find me.”** He opened his eyes and found himself standing in a strange, misty world. In front of him was an enormous **blank canvas**, stretching endlessly like the sky. A small, glowing figure stood beside it—a girl with silver hair and eyes that sparkled like stars. “I am Lumi,” she said with a smile. “This is the Land of Unfinished Dreams. Here, forgotten dreams fade away unless someone brings them to life.” Nilo looked around and saw shadowy figures of dreams that had never been completed—half-drawn bridges, houses without doors, and staircases leading to nowhere. “But how can I help?” he asked. Lumi handed him a brush that shimmered like moonlight. “You are a Dream Painter. With every stroke, you can save a dream before it is lost forever.” Excited, Nilo dipped the brush into the air, and **colors burst to life**. He painted a sky full of floating lanterns, a meadow with glowing flowers, and a river made of light. As he painted, the dream world grew brighter, and the forgotten dreams found their way home. When he finally set down the brush, Lumi beamed. “Because of you, these dreams will live on.” The mist began to swirl around him, and before he knew it, Nilo woke up in his attic, the morning sun spilling through the window. Was it just a dream? Then he looked at his easel—and there, glowing softly, was a brand-new painting of the Land of Unfinished Dreams. From that day on, whenever he painted, Nilo knew that somewhere in the world, a forgotten dream had found its way back to life.
